Preserving a Piece of History
At 2615 Park Avenue, we're committed to preserving the quality and standard of the original building.

Lobby
The lobby and foyer feature the original walnut paneling, art deco woodcuts and carvings, and ceilings with crown moldings. Along with the original light fixtures, the lobby is furnished with beautiful antiques and oriental rugs.

Elevators
While two new Otis elevators have been installed, they feature many of the original fixtures and elements, including the accordion doors, which are now encased in glass. The garage foyer and elevators have been extensively modernized to accomodate this century's living while keeping the integrity of 1929.

Building
The building's two boilers have been completely restored and modernized. A new roof has been added.

Electrical
All electrical wiring in the common areas has been updated, and two-thirds of the owners have rewired their units.

2615 had the last on-site switchboard operator in the state of Minnesota. The switchboard was replaced in 1986.
